Installation Part 1 : Unpack & Assembly

Installation Part 2 : Installation to Vehicle

Inflatable Roof Rack

Step 1: Remove content from box and all the units from the bag and unroll inflatable units.

Step 2: Place the unrolled inflatable units either on top of the cars roof surface or any other workable surface.

Step 3: Using the small inflation pump or using your mouth inflate the unit via the nozzle. When using the inflation pump, the nozzle must be inserted directly through the one way valve system located on the roof rack (If the nozzle doesn’t penetrate the valve the unit will not inflate since the air stream isn’t reaching the core of the system. Please note that while units are still new, the inflation process using the pump can be difficult. After units have been used a couple of times inflation process will be easier.

Step 4: After the unit have been inflated sufficiently – Quickly remove nozzle from valve and reinsert Valve closure fitting.

Please note that the roof rack should never be over inflated to prevent unit from rupturing or damaging related to over pressurizing. A good indication and test of sufficient air is to take your pinky and press down on the tube. You should be able to dent the tube more or less 2 cm without applying too much pressure. NEVER USE A HIGH PRESSURE INFLATION TOOL / PUMP TO INFLATE UNITS

Step 5: Place the fleece sleeve on the cars roof surface or any other flat surface and there after place the inflated tube on it.

Connect the opposite buckles and make sure the buckles are aligned between the two inflated tubes. (If the clip buckles press against tube surface re-line sleeve.

After clips have been fastened tighten the two opposite cored using the toggle located on the edge of the unit. Make a knot behind tightened toggle to prevent toggle from loosening.

Step 6: Repeat step 5 on the 2 and 3rd inflated units.

Step 7: Place assembled units on roof surface.

Step 8: Calculate the correct spacing of the three units you require according to cargo specifications that needs to be transported.

Make sure the Cargo wont overlap too much on front or back of the vehicle. Also space the units in such a way to leave sufficient head space for both the driver and passengers. Our personal suggestion is to place the first unit right in front or right behind the driver. The second unit will then be placed behind the head peace of the driver seat. The Third unit will be placed in front or behind the rear passengers. Correct spacing can make a big difference of the comfort of the occupants. Use own discretion.

Step 9: While the unit is placed on the roof surface open all the doors of the vehicle and run the strap through the interior of the car.

Where the strap exit out of the opposite door insert the strap through the first metal d-ring located on the outer side edge of the unit. Run the strap through the lockable buckle by pressing down on the release clip. Release the release clip. Tighten the strap by pulling on the end of the webbing that runs through the tightening buckle.

Step 10: Goods are now ready to be transported. Please take special care when securing goods using the different D-rings harnessing points on the inflated roof rack. Never over load the roof rack and never place to much stress on a single harnessing point.

Step 11: Disassembly: On completion of journey, haulage of cargo and material. To remove the unit open the metal clip buckle and remove webbing cord from Buckle. Open all the car doors and remove roof rack from roof surface. Find a suitable surface area remover fleece sleeve from roof rack by unclipping buckles. Release the toggle to remove the fleece sleeve from roof rack.

To deflate the units pres and hold the inflation valve while applying pressure on the rest of the unit to enable air to escape through the valve.

Start rolling up the unit and if necessary keep holding and press the valve to relieve last air from unit.

Fold or role up the unit and place in carry bag. Inflatable roof rack can either be left in car’s boot for future use or stored in a suitable place.
